Nina Patricia Hänel

After completing her stage dance studies with distinction at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden, Nina Patricia Hänel worked together with well-known international choreographers, such as cie. club guy & roni, Anouk van Dijk ,; dh + David Hernandez & collaborators; Cie. Blue Elephant / In Jung Jun, both as a free-lancer and as a member of the ensemble.

She teaches at the Center for Contemporary Dance (Zentrum für Zeitgenössischen Tanz : ZZT) of the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in the fields of dance education, artistic research, contemporary dance technique and body awareness methods (Feldenkrais-Method® and Body-Mind Centering®).

 She completed a master's degree in contemporary dance education at the der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main and is currently completing a master's degree in dance studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. She is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® and is training to become a Somatic Movement Educator (Body-Mind Centering®).

She was part of an interdisciplinary research team in the “InnoLernenTanz” project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden and contributed to the development of the handbook “Practicing dance - a somatically oriented approach” (ed. Jenny Coogan).
