Yoga, TaKeTiNa Rhythm Therapy

Christoph Barth, born in Saarbrücken in 1977, initially studied orchestral trumpet and instrumental pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz (HfMT) in Cologne, and graduated with honors in October 2007. Since then he has worked as a freelance musician and has held teaching positions at the HfMT Cologne and the University of Siegen. In 2004 he completed his four-year BDY yoga teacher training. In 2009 he successfully completed his two-year "TaKeTiNa rhythm pedagogy training" and in 2013 his one-year "TaKeTiNa advanced training" with Reinhard and Cornelia Flatischler. He gives workshops and courses in the field of "Yoga for Musicians" and "TaKeTiNa Rhythm Pedagogy", among others, at the "Peter Ostwald Institute for Musicians’ Health" (HfMT Köln), as well as through regular workshops and lectures at various institutions throughout Europe, including the Basel Conservatory, Mozarteum Salzburg and the Munich Conservatory.
